Christmas is just around the corner and the Colfax Library is excited to once again…
World Trade Center by Tom Mohr
In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Tom Mohr has installed a new photo collage of the World Trade Center at the Libey Gallery. Mohr was living in New York City at the time, and the photos show the Twin Towers before the 2001 attack. The exhibit will be on display through the end of the month.
Vicki Broeckel also has new works on display in the gallery. Fans of her work will likely notice a departure in this exhibit from her usual local country scenes. Instead, these works evoke the luminist style of Thomas Kinkade with scenes of cottages and bucolic countrysides.
Pullman artist Ernie Weiss’ watercolor exhibit continues to be on display in the small gallery through the end of September.
The Libey Gallery is in The Center adjacent to the Colfax Library at 102 S. Main St. The Center and Colfax Library are open to the public Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 1-5pm.
