Temporary Colton Library Closure; Uniontown Library Takes Over Colton’s Open Hours
The Colton Library was the recipient of a grant of $10,000 for improvements to the library from The Meter Foundation. Beginning the week of October 10th, the Colton Library will be closed for painting and carpet replacement. Volunteers from the Meter Foundation will assist in moving library items and library renovations. Some work has previously been done as part of this grant, including lighting, wiring and HVAC upgrades. The library expects to re-open its regular hours from 2:30pm to 6:30pm on Thursday October 27.
The Colton Library’s regular hours are Monday 10am – 2:30pm and Thursday 2:30pm to 6:30pm. During the closure of the Colton Library, hours will shift to the Uniontown Library. From October 10 – 26, Colton Library will be closed and Uniontown Library will have the following hours:
Monday: 2:30-6:30pm
Wednesday: 2-6pm
Thursday: 5-6:30pm
Friday: 9:30am-1:30pm
