Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math (STREAM) kits are now available for check out at Whitman County Library thanks to a community grant program provided by Innovia Foundation.

These kits integrate high interest books with hands-on STREAM resources to foster the development of critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.

Innovia Foundation works closely with nonprofits organizations and others throughout the region wanting to improve their communities. Through this foundation grant opportunity, Friends of Whitman County Library are able to provide forty-four educational kits for families, daycare providers and homeschoolers.

The recommended age varies from kit to kit, but most are geared for youth ages 2-10 with opportunities for family involvement. Stop by your library branch or request online.
