Seal Skeleton Exploration kit comes to Whitman County Library branches throughout the month of May

Summer Reading at Whitman County Libraries is just around the corner with the theme of “Oceans of Possibilities”. Since the ocean waves and beach are far away from us here, we are bringing the bones of a semiaquatic mammal, a seal, to you. Examine a full seal skeleton, learn seal facts, and answer seal trivia. All ages are invited to the following library locations to for this fun, hands-on program:

• Tuesday, May 10 – Tekoa Library 3:15-4:15 pm
• Wednesday, May 11 – Albion Library 4:00-5:00 pm
• Thursday, May 12 – Rosalia Library 3:30-4:30 pm
• Monday, May 16 – Oakesdale Library 3:30-4:30 pm
• Wednesday, May 18 – Garfield Library 12:30-1:30 pm
• Thursday, May 19 – Colton Library 3:15-4:15 pm
• Friday, May 20 – Colfax 3:30-4:30 pm
• Monday, May 23 – LaCrosse Library 1:30-2:30 pm adults & 3:00-4:00 pm kids
• Tuesday, May 24 – Endicott Library 3:30-4:30 pm
• Wednesday, May 25 – St. John Library 3:30-4:30 pm
