The Whitman County Rural Library System celebrates the 15th Annual Penny Drive April 4-30. Each of the fourteen library branch locations collects money to fund programs or projects that are vital to their community.

National Library Week kicks off the event April 3-9. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is an observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country. Whitman County Library celebrates the contributions of its loyal customers, friends, volunteers, and dedicated staff during this special event.
