Paint-A-Pot
Adults are invited to kick off Summer Reading with Paint-A-Pot! This grab-n-go event is happening at the Colfax, Colton, Farmington, Garfield, Oakesdale, Tekoa, and Uniontown branches of Whitman County Library during the month of June, with some libraries starting June 1 and others to follow throughout the month. Supplies are limited and on a first come first basis.
Paint-A-Pot kits include a pot, paint, art supplies, and more thanks to the Friends of the Library. Some branches are offering seeds to plant in your decorated pot and at the Colfax branch you’ll receive a 15% off coupon to A Modern Plantsman, generously donated.
If you’re looking for some inspiration or company while you craft, hop onto Zoom to work on our pots together on Wednesday, June 23, anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. Email Sarah Phelan-Blamires at sarahp@whitcolib.org to join in.
So whether you love gardening, crafting, or trying something new stop by your library to pick up a Paint-A-Pot kit this June. Curbside pickup is always available by phone or email.
