The community is invited to view a collection of watercolors by Pullman artist Ernie Weiss in the Libey Gallery at The Center in Colfax.  The bright and vibrant works show the range of Weiss’ interests including nature, architecture, and other subjects.   

Born in Yakima, Weiss grew up on an apple orchard in the Naches Heights District. Exploring the nearby mountains and water ways began his love of nature. He has a degree in Architecture and MBA from WSU and began painting after retiring. He now works in both watercolor and oil.  

The exhibit will be on display through September 30.

The Center and Colfax Library are open to the public Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 1-5pm.
