The community is invited to visit the Jennings Elementary & Steptoe School Art and STEAM Exhibit, now showing through February 25 at the Libey Gallery.

The exhibit, sponsored by Colfax Parent Teacher Organization, features artwork and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects from K-6^th grade students. “There was no specific theme for the exhibition, we at the PTO wanted to provide an open forum, to give the students the opportunity to share what talents they have, and perhaps introduce them to artistic mediums or scientific ideas, they weren’t privy to before“, stated Amy Peterson, Colfax PTO President.  Exhibit visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite art or project.

The Libey Gallery, adjacent to the Colfax Library, open hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 6 pm and Saturday 1:00-5:00 pm.  Visit www.whitcolib.org for more information on additional gallery exhibits.
