Being Mortal Documentary & Discussion
Tuesday May 29, 2 – 4 pm
If you thought you were dying, what would matter most? Join us for a community showing of the documentary, Being Mortal, by Dr. Atul Gawande on Tuesday, May 29 at 2 p.m. in the Colfax Library’s meeting room. The film features the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and illustrates the importance of Advanced Care Planning. Following the film will be an opportunity to come together as a community and have an interactive group discussion with trained Advance Care Planning facilitators.
This event is free and open to the public with refreshments served. Advanced Care Planning is for all adults. It is about having the meaningful conversations about the care you would want to receive if you become unable to speak for yourself.
