Consider serving on the Whitman County Library Board!

The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month, generally from 4-5 p.m. at the Colfax Branch and occasionally at other branch locations.

Zoom is another option for attendance. 

Board members are not paid, although a travel reimbursement is available.

Board Service is easy and important.

Members must live within the library district which is the entire county excluding Pullman. The district includes 14 branch libraries and nearly 30 employees, most of whom are part-time. The five-member board represents the public and is responsible for governance of the entire library district.
