Self-Care Kits
Stressed? Self-Care kits are available for adult summer readers at Colfax Library July 19-31 and Colton & Uniontown Libraries July 12-23. This has been an exhausting year (or two), we all need to take a little time for ourselves and recharge. This kit is full of items to help you relax and destress, including supplies for a DIY all natural sugar scrub. Kits are first come, first serve.

Yoga in the Park
For even more self-care, join Suzy McNeilly at Schmuck Park in Colfax on Wednesday, July 28 for an evening of yoga and meditation. Starts at 6 p.m., all adults are invited.

Trivia Night
Test your knowledge at Trivia Night; live on Whitman County Library’s Facebook Page the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Coming up is also trivia night at the Endicott Library Park on Thursday, August 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Bird Appreciation & Relaxation Night
Albion Library is hosting an evening of relaxation with coloring, crafting, and the soothing sounds of nature on Thursday, July 22 at 5:15 p.m. at Albion Park.

Book Tasting
Looking for a new book or a future book? Want to try a new genre? Palouse Library is always here to help! Especially with Book Tastings, where you are free to sample books of any genre – both contemporary and classic. Book A Vacation
Book A Vacation with Oakesdale and Tekoa Libraries all month long. Whether or not you leave home this summer, the library will help you escape. Drop by for some fun goodies that will help you feel just like you are on vacation! Both Colfax and Farmington are offering similar programs, “Bon Voyage Bags” available during the month of July at Farmington and August 16-31 at Colfax! Come and get a bag for a journey to another state or country. Each bag contains a book, recipe and other things for your destination.

Tin Can Lanterns
Tin Can Lanterns kits are available all July long at Garfield Library. Each kit includes a tin can, nail, inspiration sheet, paint, and a few patterns if you choose to use them.

Book Club in the Park
Colfax Library’s next book club is Monday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Schmuck Park. Read “The Duke & I” by Julia Quinn, first book in the “Bridgerton” series or watch the television series, “Bridgerton.” All adults are welcome, even if you haven’t read the book.
